The beginning...

Although I had lost weight before, and gained it right back, something happened that made me really want to lose weight for good. My knees and back were hurting. My feet too. I started watching this show, The Ultimate Fighter, on Spike TV. I always liked contact sports and had a punching bag at home. I bought some training tapes, and started training on the bag. This is what started the ball rolling. No diet yet. No real progress. My blood pressure was borderline high (I'm only 34) and I have a baby I need to be a good example to. I started working out twice or three times a week for @20 min. In 3 or 4 months, I had lost maybe 5-10 pounds.

Welcome

I used to be fat. I am 6'0 and got to weigh 250lbs. I tried yo-yo diets, Atkins, South-Beach, the Cabbage soup diet, not eating, the Hollywood diet, you name it, I tried it. Finally I hit upon certain nuggets of knowledge which helped me get down to 190. I will share these with you.
